T.I. will not return for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania

According to The Hollywood Reporter, T.I. will not return for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. In the first two films of the series, the rapper/actor played a friend of Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang named Dave.

News of him not returning comes after he and his wife are facing accusations of sexual abuse by multiple people. Both T.I. and his wife have denied the allegations.


According to the Reporter, it is not clear whether this was related to the decision for him not to return. However, another report from Variety did say that Marvel Studios never intended for him to return.

Filming for the third Ant-Man film is expected to begin in the Summer. Peyton Reed will once again serve as director.


At Disney’s Investor Day event in December, it was announced that Kathryn Newton would replace Emma Fuhrmann as Cassie Lang. It was also announced that Jonathan Majors would play Kang the Conqueror, whose one of the most well-known villains in Marvel Comics history.
