Spider-Man: No Way Home continues to climb the all time box-office charts. Earlier today it was revealed that the Sony and Marvel Studios film has now grossed $1.37B worldwide. The movie is now the 12th highest-grossing movie of all time after passing Black Panther ($1.35B)
Over the next couple of weeks, it’s expected to pass Avengers: Age of Ultron ($1.402B), Frozen II ($1.45B), Furious 7 ($1.515B), and The Avengers ($1.518B). With a little bit of legs, it might also pass The Lion King ($1.662B) and Jurassic World ($1.67B) to move into sixth all-time. However, without a release in China, its unlikely to go any further and move into the top five.
What’s crazy about Spider-Man: No Way Home’s worldwide total is that it’s more than Black Widow, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and Eternals combined to make this year ($1.192B)
Domestically, No Way Home finished its third weekend with $52.7M. The film has now grossed $609M in North America, which is good enough for 10th all time.
