(The following contains spoilers for the upcoming film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. You’ve been warned.)
With no trailer still, toy leaks have been the only thing that’s provided us a glimpse at the upcoming film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Within the last couple of days, another one has popped up on Twitter and given us some more looks at the Phase 4 film.
The leak consisted of pictures of Marvel Legends action figures. One of them was another look at Simu Liu’s Shang-Chi in his comic book accurate costume. We also get our first look at Tony Leung’s Wenwu (aka The Mandarin), Death Dealer, and Xialing.
Wenwu’s look is the one that really stands out as Marvel Studios seems to have made changes with where his rings will be placed. Instead of having 10 rings on his fingers, like he does in the comics, they will be placed around his arms.
The toys also have bios for each character that contain some pretty big spoilers. The biggest reveal is that Wenwu (aka The Mandarin) is actually Shang-Chi and Xialing’s father. This also differs from the comics.
Originally Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings was supposed to come out in February. However, after being delayed three times, it’s now slated to be released on September 3rd.
