With what’s going on in the world, it’s good sometimes to get our mind off things with some laughter. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings actor Samu Liu did just that. Earlier today, he posted on Twitter that he was leaving the role of Shang-Chi due to “creative differences.” Midway through the tweet though Liu changed course and said that it was supposed to be a joke but couldn’t go through with it.
Liu would follow up and say that there would be no way he would leave the role and joked that he would even do it for free.
Like most films right now, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings‘ production is currently suspended due to the Coronavirus. At the moment, it’s slated to open on February 12, 2021. However, If filming isn’t able to begin relatively soon, that could change.
