Why MCU fans await news on if The Falcon and Winter Soldier will be released in August, there has been news on the series that follows it. WandaVision, which was expected to be released on Disney+ in December, will reportedly resume filming sometime in July.

This report comes from the Tampa Bay Comic Book Convention, who says that Vision actor Paul Bettany canceled his scheduled appearance. Organizers for the Convention posted this message on Facebook.

We finally received word from Paul Bettany’s representation, and unfortunately Paul had to cancel his appearance at TBCC this year due being called back by Disney for WandaVision filming in July, in Los Angeles. We’re working on guest additions!

With production set to take place in Los Angeles, some have speculated that this is when the series will shoot in front of a live studio audience. Something that has long been reported on.  However, with all the Coronavirus restrictions, it’s not known if this would even be possible.

Not much is known on the plot of the Marvel Studios produced series. Judging by the teaser, it looks like it will revolve around the Scarlet Witch (played by Elizabeth Olsen) using her reality-altering powers to bring the Vision back. This is something she’s known to use in the comics but has not yet demonstrated in the MCU.
