Originally it was thought that WandaVision, the Marvel Studios produced series that will premiere on Disney+, would consist of six episodes. However, a new report now says that the show staring the Scarlet Witch and Vision will be even longer.
According to Murphy’s Multiverse and later confirmed by MCU Cosmic, the series will now have nine episodes. The news was first uncovered by Murphy’s Multiverse’s Lizzie Hill after she acquired a stuntman’s resume. On it, the person lists the episode number they worked on as “WandaVision (109)”. The “1” stands for the first season, and the “09” stands for episode nine.
Like usually Marvel Studios has been tight lipped on plot details. After seeing the teaser released in February, some think that the Scarlet Witch will finally use her reality-warping abilities to bring Vision back to life. For those living under a rock, Vision was killed by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War.
The series is still in production and is expected to resume filming sometime in July. At the moment, it’s supposed to be released on the streamer in December. However, if filming were to be delayed due to the Coronavirus resurgence, it could be pushed back.
