Report: Spider-Man 3 adds Succession actor to the cast

The third Spider-Man film in the MCU has added another to its mysterious cast. Murphy’s Multiverse reports that actor Arian Moayed has been cast as an unnamed character.

While his name is unknown, the outlet did say that he will be a detective. After the way Spider-Man: Far From Home ended with Peter Parker now a wanted man, Moayed’s character will now likely be the one trying to bring him in.

Those who watch the HBO show Succession might be familiar with Moayed as he appeared throughout the first two seasons. He’s also known for his on-stage performance in Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo, for which he was nominated for a Tony Award.

As mentioned before, there are a lot of rumors going around with the upcoming Spidey film as it relates to the cast. In December it was reported that former Spider-Man actors Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire were going to be in the film. However, last week, the current Spider-Man Tom Holland said those rumors were not true. Many people, including myself, think that Holland was not being truthful and that they are in the film. I guess will just have to wait and see.

Spider-Man 3 is expected to arrive in theaters later this year on December 17th.
