Randall Park says starring in a Agents of Atlas series would be a “dream come true”

Through five episodes of WandaVision, FBI Agent Jimmy Woo, whose played by Randall Park, has become a fan-favorite in the Disney+ series. Because of it, fans are hoping that Woo will get his own series based on a popular group in the comics called the Agents of Atlas.

During a recent interview with Fandom, Park was asked about the possibility of starring in a show based on the team.

“I am familiar with Agents of Atlas in part because a lot of fans have been talking about it and friends would send me links to the discussion amongst fans about that. That would be incredible,” the actor said. “Just to be in the Marvel universe in any way is just such a thrill for me. But if a show like that would come to fruition that would be a dream come true. I mean it’s already a dream come true just being in the Marvel universe.”

For those unfamiliar with Agents of Atlas, it was a team that was assembled and led by Woo. They debuted in 2006 and consisted of Namora, Venus, Gorilla-Man, and M-11/the Human Robot. In recent years, the team has reshuffled. It now consists of many Asian and Asian American superheroes, most notably Shang-Chi.

“As a kid, I collected these comic books, and I was just such a fan as a kid, and to see all of it come to life on the big screen and then to be a part of it, it’s just crazy to me,” Park adds. “So the talk of a Jimmy Woo spin-off or Agents of Atlas, that’s almost too crazy for me. I don’t know if I could even handle that. But I would love it and I would do anything for Marvel because I just love it so much.”

Because basically all of these heroes have not even debuted in the MCU yet, the team would either have to be staffed differently, or Marvel will have to debut many of them in a short time. Recently Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige said that South-East Asian superheroes are on the way to the MCU. Perhaps this was our first hint that Agents of Atlas is in the cards for Marvel.

So what do you? Do you want to see Park star in a Disney+ series that’s based off Agents of Atlas?
