New Spider-Man: No Way Home image shows Doctor Octopus capturing Tom Holland’s Peter Parker

Tomorrow, Empire Magazine will release a brand new issue that includes a “world-exclusive” look at Spider-Man: No Way Home. To preview it, the outlet has released a chilling new image of Doctor Octopus confronting the web swinger.

In the image, Doc Ock (played by Alfred Molina) appears to capture Tom Holland’s Peter Parker with his metal tentacles.

Parker looks to be wearing his Iron Spider suit. So even in his strongest outfit, it looks like he’s still going to have a rough time taking on Doc Ock.

Another nugget about the film that was revealed today was that Thomas Haden Church’s Sandman and Rhys Ifans’ Lizard are confirmed to be in the movie as well. The news came to us from Twitter user @spidey3backup, who posted a screenshot of tomorrow’s Empire story that confirms the news.

Of course, Church’s Sandman was one of the villains in 2007’s Spider-Man 3, while Ifans’ Lizard was the main villain in 2012’s The Amazing Spider-Man. The two are expected to team up with Molina’s Doc Ock, Jamie Foxx’s Electro, and Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin.

Spider-Man: No Way home is slated to hit theaters on December 17. With less than two months away, I’m sure will be getting a second trailer sometime soon.
