New Moon Knight clip sees Ethan Hawke unleash a Jackal-like creature

Marvel Studios has released another clip for their upcoming Moon Knight series. The one-minute video features Ethan Hawke’s villainous character Arthur Harrow, who uses his cane to summon a creature that resembles a Jackal.

This isn’t the first time that we’ve seen the monstrous creature. In the first trailer, Moon Knight (played by Oscar Isaac) is shown pummeling it while it’s lying on the ground. Our best look at it though came over the weekend in a 30 spot. In it, it’s seen trying to sneak up on Moon Knight and lunges toward him. Fortunately, our Marvel hero senses him coming and is able to turn around and lay him out with a left haymaker.

As for Hawke’s Harrow, it’s known that he’s based on a minor villain from the comics who’s a scientist. However, according to Hawke, this version of the character is described as a “religious zealot and cult leader who associates himself with the Egyptian god Ammit on a righteous mission that turns murderous.” Thanks to the clip, it appears that he has magical abilities as well.

Slated to run six episodes in length, Moon Knight will premiere on Disney+ on March 30. Mohamed Diab, Justin Benson, and Aaron Moorhead served as directors, while Jeremy Slater (The Umbrella Academy) served as showrunner and head writer.
