MCU Stars Respond to Coronavirus Outbreak

Across the globe, the COVID-19 outbreak has had a massive impact on society. Whether it’s being forced to quarantine and await testing or preventing you from going to the gym, the virus has affected just about everyone’s daily life.
The film industry has been hit hard as well. Just about every upcoming major release has been pushed back, including Marvel Studios’ Black Widow, which was supposed to be released on May 1st. Marvel films and shows in production have also been suspended, this includes Shang-Chi and Falcon and Winter Soldier. The virus has also hit home with MCU fans as Idris Elba, who plays Heimdall in the Thor series, announced that he tested positive for the Coronavirus.
While we wait for the debut of Marvel’s Phase Four, MCU stars have taken to social media to spread support for Elba and others who have been affected by the virus. Others have used their platform to tell people to take the outbreak more series. Some have also used it to bring some much-needed joy and laughter to people. Take a look below!
