Mark your calendars down! Today The Walt Disney Company announced that on November 12, which is when the company will celebrate Disney+ Day, a new Marvel Studios “special” will be released on Disney+. The “special” is described as giving fans an “exciting look towards the future” of the MCU.
It was also announced that Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will hit the streamer that day as well. The second MCU film released this year has brought in over $320M worldwide since dropping in theaters on September 3rd.
This isn’t the first time the company has released a special on their streaming service that teased future MCU content. When Disney+ launched on November 12, 2019, the studio released a special called Marvel Studios: Expanding the Universe. The 12-minute video showcased yet to be released MCU shows like WandaVision, Loki, and Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
If the special is once again only going to focus on content coming to Disney+, then I’d suspect that it will involve shows like Hawkeye, Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, Moon Knight, Ironheart, and Armor Wars. It might also officially announce other projects that have been rumored, like shows about Echo and Okoye.
What do you hope to see on Disney+ Day?
