Mark Ruffalo spotted on the set of She-Hulk

By Stephen Ippolito | June 3rd, 2021

Filming for Marvel Studios’ upcoming series She-Hulk quietly began in April. Starring Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters (aka She-Hulk), the Disney+ series will also see Mark Ruffalo reprise his role as Bruce Banner (aka the Hulk).

Now thanks to a post by actress Anais Almonte on her Facebook account, we know that Ruffalo has started filming his scenes.

While the pictures don’t reveal much, they do show Ruffalo in a motion-capture costume. This probably means that we will be seeing the return of Professor Hulk. An alternate form that first appeared in Avengers: Endgame.

Aside from Ruffalo and Maslany, the series will star Ginger Gonzaga as Walters’ best friend and Renée Elise Goldsberry as Amelia. In December, it was also announced that Tim Roth would reprise his role as Emil Blonsky (aka The Abomination). The actor first played the role in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk.

Described as a “half-hour legal comedy,” She-Hulk will be directed by Kat Coiro and Anu Valia. The 10 episode series will premiere on the Disney streaming service sometime in 2022.
