Loki series finally gets a premiere date

By Stephen Ippolito | February 24th, 2021

We finally have a release date for the third Marvel Studios produced series for Disney+. Within the last couple of hours, the studio announced that Loki will hit the streaming service on June 11th.

Initially Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige said that the series would be released in May. Whether it was for marketing or production reasoning, it will now arrive in June.

The Tom Hiddleston led series will consist of six 40-50 minute episodes. About a month ago, it was reported that Loki had already been renewed for a second season.

Hiddleston will be joined by Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant. The series is being directed by Kate Herron and written by Michael Waldron.
