Leaked Lego set reveals our first look at Shang-Chi suited up

Outside of some set pictures, we have yet to get any sort of promotional look for the upcoming Phase 4 film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Now thanks to a leak from a Lego set, we have just that.

Posted on Reddit, the leak shows a promotional picture of actor Simu Liu as Shang-Chi. In it, he’s wearing his comic-book accurate Red outfit that’s he’s known to wear through the years.

The actual Lego set shows a massive Red and White dragon firing off what looks like an ice blast. It’s not known who this particular dragon is, and because this is just a toy set, it’s not even known if he’s in the film. There was some thought that this could be Fin Fang Foom, whose rumored to appear. However, as some have pointed out, Fin Fang Foom is Green, so this is not likely him.

Also shown in the set, are Lego figures of Shang-Chi, Xialing (played by Meng’er Zhang), and Wenwu (played by Tony Leung). From previous announcements, we know that Wenwu is actually the well-known Marvel Comics villain, The Mandarin.

Originally, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings was slated to come out earlier this month.  Because of the pandemic, the film has been delayed twice and is now scheduled to hit theaters in July.

A few weeks ago I would have told you that it was definitely going to get delayed again. However, due to states with major markets (New York) recently announcing theaters can open up in some capacity next month, I think there’s now a shot it’s released. If it does, hopefully will finally get a trailer soon.
