Since April, fans have been waiting for the trailer for the much-anticipated Phase 4 film the Eternals. Originally slated to come out in November, it was pushed to February because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Because of the delay, the trailer was also pushed back.
With about five months until it’s intended release and still no trailer, fans have taken to Twitter to plead their case for it to be released. One of the film’s stars Kumail Nanjiani (Kingo) saw the tweets and responded to them on Sunday night.
That’s some high praise from Nanjiani, saying it’s the “most exciting, fun, epic, thrilling, hilarious” film he’s been a part of. Obviously, it’s his job to pump up the movie, but it’s nice for him to also recognize that the fans are very excited to see the film. It shouldn’t really come as a surprise that the studio hasn’t kept him up to date on what’s going on. As always, Marvel Studios likes to run a tight ship when it comes to information regarding their movies and series.
Also starring Richard Madden (Ikaris), Angelina Jolie (Thena), and Kit Harington (Dane Whitman), the film is based on the Marvel Comics series that debuted in 1976. According to the official synopsis, this version of the team will have been secretly living on earth for the past 7,000 years.
