Back in September, it was revealed that actor Jonathan Majors would play the time-traveling villain Kang the Conqueror in the upcoming film Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Since then, fans have been hoping that the long-time Marvel Comics foe would debut in another MCU project first, specifically Loki.
With the series focusing heavily on the TVA (Time Variance Authority), it would make sense for Kang to show up here first. It makes even more sense because, in the comics, Gugu Mbatha-Raw’s character Ravonna Renslayer actually has a romantic history with him.
Well now in a new interview with Variety, Majors was asked about appearing in the Disney+ series, and he didn’t exactly give a “no” answer.
“I have no idea what you’re talking about.”
It’s obvious that Majors does know what they’re talking about but is choosing to play dumb answering it. It could be that he’s doing this because he doesn’t want to spoil it. It could also be that he’s just messing with fans and he’s not in it. Similar to what Paul Bettany did during WandaVision‘s run. Until the final episode of Loki drops, will just have to wait and see.
With four episodes remaining, you can catch new episodes of Loki on Disney+ every Wednesday. If Majors doesn’t end up appearing in the show or any other MCU projects, then you can catch him in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania in theaters on February 17, 2023.
