After a wild day in MCU news, it looks Ant-Man 3 has found it’s writer. The Hollywood Reporter says Marvel Studios has tasked writer Jeff Loveness to pen the script for the third installment in the series. The hiring of Loveness makes sense, as he is known for his comedy writing (Rick and Morty, Miracle Workers), a significant feature in the series.
Peyton Reed will return as director after helming the first two films. The outlet also says Paul Rudd is also expected to return as Scott Lang. No other casting has been confirmed but you would think a good chunk from the first two films will also be back.
It’s not known when Ant-Man 3 will be released, but with Disney reshuffling all of it’s MCU films through mid-2022 today, it might not be till 2023.
