Doctor Strange takes on Gargantos in the first clip for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

With exactly one week until preview night (May 5), Marvel Studios has released the very first clip for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. In the one-minute action-packed video that actually came from IMDb, we see Benedict Cumberbatch’s Strange taking on Gargantos in the streets of New York.

As you can see, Gargantos (not Shuma-Gorath) is shown chasing Xochitl Gomez’s America Chavez. Lucky for her, Strange shows up and saves her from the monstrous creature.

What’s interesting to see about Gargantos in the clip is that he can apparently turn invisible. Thanks to Strange’s magic, he was able to cast a spell to decloak him and allow the public to see the monster.

During Disney’s presentation at CinemaCon yesterday, audience members were treated to the first 20 minutes of the film, which included this clip. While I won’t spoil what happened in the screening, I will give you the option of clicking on this LINK to read about it.

So far, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has sold $42M in advance tickets. According to the site Boxoffice Pro.com, the sequel is projected to earn $190M-210M domestically during its opening weekend.

So are you excited to see Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness next week?
