For over a year now, there have been multiple reports that Charlie Cox will return to reprise his role as Matt Murdock (aka Daredevil) in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Since the release of the trailer last week, fans have convinced themselves that they’ve spotted him in it.
Toward the beginning of the three-minute video when Tom Holland’s Peter Parker is being interrogated, a man is seen slamming down a pile of papers on a table. Many think that this is Cox’s Murdock and have gone so far as to compare his forearms from his past roles.
In a new interview with ComicBook.com, Cox clears the air and reveals if those were in fact his forearms.
“I can promise you those are not my forearms.”
What’s interesting is that Cox didn’t deny that he’s in the movie. He has in the past done this, but not in this specific interview.
Personally, while I don’t think those are his forearms, I definitely think he’s in the film.
Cox isn’t the only actor from Netflix’s Marvel shows rumored to reprise their roles in future MCU projects. In July, it was reported that Vincent D’Onofrio would return to play Wilson Fisk/Kingpin in the Hawkeye series. Earlier this year, it was also reported that Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones would appear in the She-Hulk series.
As for Spider-Man: No Way Home, you can see it in theaters on December 17th.
