On Thursday, news broke that one of She-Hulk’s most formidable foes would be making her MCU debut in the upcoming Disney+ series. According to The Illuminerdi, Jameela Jamil (The Good Place) has joined the cast of She-Hulk and will play Titania.
The outlet said that the MCU’s take on the character has been described as a social media influencer with a “dark side.” No details were given on how big her role will be or if she’s even the main villain.
Back in November, it was reported that actor Tenoch Huerta was being eyed to play the villain in the Black Panther sequel (Wakanda Forever). Now a report this week might have just revealed who that villain is.
According to The Illuminerdi, Huerta will play Namor the Sub-Mariner. They also said that the film’s main plot will revolve around a conflict between Namor’s mighty forces of Atlantis and Wakanda.
With filming underway, Marvel Studios’ upcoming series She-Hulk has been making headlines recently. Now a rumor from Friday might have just made the biggest headline about the Disney+ series so far.
According to The Direct, the Hulk’s son, Skaar, will appear at some point in the series.
Despite being choked to death by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, fans had been hoping that Tom Hiddleston’s Loki would still appear in the next Thor film (Thor: Love and Thunder). Especially since the God of Mischief is starring in his own Disney+ series that was just released.
However, while making the rounds doing interviews to promote the show, Hiddleston seems to have put a lid on any hope of him appearing in the film.
On Friday morning, Marvel Studios announced that tickets for the first film in Phase Four, Black Widow, are now on sale. After being delayed three times, the Scarlett Johansson led film will hit theaters and Disney+ Premier Access on July 9th.
