Marvel Studios is developing a Nova project with Moon Knight’s Sabir Pirzada writing the script

On Thursday, Deadline reported that Marvel Studios is developing a Nova project and has tapped Moon Knight writer Sabir Pirzada to pen the script. While it’s not clear if it will be a film or a Disney+ series, the outlet did note that it’s “likely to be a limited series for Disney+”.

In the comics, Nova made his debut all the way back in 1966. As a member of the intergalactic police force known as the Nova Corps, he gained the abilities of super strength, flight, and resistance to injury.

Over the years, there have been multiple individuals to hold the title as Nova such as Richard Rider and Sam Alexander. In their post, Deadline seemed to imply that this particular project will focus on Rider.

David Dastmalchian will not return for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania

While appearing at the Moon Knight red carpet premiere this week, actor David Dastmalchian, who played Scott Lang’s friend Kurt Goreshter, revealed that he is not in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

“It doesn’t look like it… But that’s okay. I know they’re making something incredible. I can’t wait to see what Peyton does next. He’s one of my favorite directors…He’s been so busy. I have tried to stay in touch, but he’s making an incredible film right now.”

Report: Thor: Love and Thunder reshoots started last week

This week, The Ankler’s Jeff Sneider reported that Thor: Love and Thunder started “additional photograph” in Manhattan Beach, CA, last week. Sneider also suggested that this particular round of filming involved Oscar-winner Christian Bale (Gorr the God Butcher).

There’s no word on how long filming is slated to take. It’s a very common practice for Marvel Studios movies to undergo reshoots months before their release. In fact, their next film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which comes out on May 6, just finished up a round of them recently with Benedict Cumberbatch.

New Moon Knight clip sees Ethan Hawke unleash a Jackal-like creature

On Monday, Marvel Studios released another clip for their upcoming Moon Knight series. The one-minute video features Ethan Hawke’s villainous character Arthur Harrow, who uses his cane to summon a creature that resembles a Jackal.
