Holland, Maguire, and Garfield recreate classic Spider-Man meme as No Way Home gets Digital and DVD release dates

On Wednesday, Sony announced that Spider-Man: No Way Home will be released on Digital on March 22, and DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K UHD on April 12. To celebrate the news, the studio released a behind the scenes photo that showed the three Peter Parker’s (Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire, and Andrew Garfield) recreating the famous Spider-Man finger-pointing meme.

Ryan Reynolds says that updates on Deadpool 3 are coming “sooner rather than later”

Since Disney acquired 20th Century Fox in 2019, it’s been a prolonged process to get Deadpool 3 made. While the film was officially confirmed to be in the works by Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige last year, there hasn’t been that many updates since. 

Last week, Deadpool himself Ryan Reynolds did give a rare but brief one when he said that it was “coming along”. Now in another interview with Collider, the actor had this to say when asked if he and Shawn Levy, who he’s worked with recently on Free Guy and The Adam Project, have talked about him directing it.

“We pretty much talk about everything, but I’ll say this about that particular subject is I’ll have a batch of updates on that sooner rather than later, I hope. So I’ll be able to get into stuff about Deadpool a little bit more clearly and definitively down the road.”

Peter Dinklage seemingly confirms that he’ll reprise his role as Eitri in Thor: Love and Thunder

Within the last couple of months, there have been rumors that Peter Dinklage would reprise his role as Eitri the Dwarf in Thor: Love and Thunder. Well, during an interview this week with Empire to promote his new film Cyrano, Dinklage was asked if we will be seeing him in the MCU anytime soon.

“Well, there’s another Thor movie there, isn’t there? Coming out that Taika’s directed. But, I didn’t say anything. I didn’t say anything.”

Aaron Pierre joins the cast of Marvel Studios’ Blade film

On Tuesday, Deadline was first to report that Aaron Pierre has joined the upcoming Marvel Studios film based on the famed vampire hunter. The actor becomes the third person to join the cast after Mahershala Ali (Blade) and Delroy Lindo.

While the outlet didn’t reveal who he will play, they did describe the role as “major.” They also said it was “one of the more highly coveted parts in Hollywood” since the film’s director Bassam Tariq came on board in the fall.

Ironheart series adds This Is Us star Lyric Ross to the cast

The cast for Marvel Studios’ upcoming series Ironheart is starting to take shape. Yesterday, The Hollywood Reporter was the first to report that actress Lyric Ross has joined the Disney+ show. Ross became the third person to be cast after Dominique Thorne (Riri Williams/Ironheart) and Anthony Ramos.

According to the outlet, Ross will play the best friend of Thorne’s Williams. In the comics, Williams does have a friend named Natalie Washington. Sadly she was tragically killed by gun violence while the two were teenagers. It’s unknown if this is the same character that she will play or if Marvel will even use the same backstory.
