Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will temporarily shut down production as Letitia Wright continues to recover from her injury

On Friday, The Hollywood Reporter reported that production for the Black Panther sequel will temporarily shut down starting the week of Thanksgiving to allow Letitia Wright more time to heal from the injury. A representative for the 28 year old actress did tell the outlet that they hope for filming to resume in early 2022.

“Letitia has been recovering in London since September from injuries sustained on the set of Black Panther 2 and is looking forward to returning to work early 2022. Letitia kindly asks that you keep her in your prayers.”

Gael Garcia Bernal has been cast as the lead for Marvel Studios’ Werewolf by Night Halloween special

According to The Wrap’s Umberto Gonzalez, actor Gael Garcia Bernal has been cast as the lead for Marvel Studios’ upcoming Disney+ Halloween Special. While details for the project remain under wraps, it is expected to be based on the character Werewolf by Night.

A Mexico native, Gael García Bernal was most recently seen in M. Night Shyamalan’s Old. In 2016, he won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor for his role in the Amazon series Mozart in the Jungle.

New Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness merchandise confirms the film’s villain

In May, rumors started to surface online that the main villain in the upcoming film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness would be Shuma-Gorath. Known in the comics for conquering countless universes, the rumors seemed to make sense given the movie’s title.

On Monday, it was revealed that the reports were accurate. On the Australian online bookstore Booktopia, a 1,000 piece puzzle set is available for pre-order that shows a picture of Doctor Strange taking on Shuma-Gorath. The item is listed as an official merchandise for the upcoming Marvel Studios film.
