Despite already filming for the last couple of months, it seems that Marvel Studios’ upcoming Disney+ series She-Hulk, is not done casting. According to Justin Kroll at Deadline, actor Josh Segarra has joined the series in an undisclosed role.
Fans of the CW’s DC series Arrow will certainly recognize Segarra. During the show’s fifth season, he played Adrian Chase/Prometheus, who was that year’s “big bad.” Some of his other credits include Orange Is the New Black and Chicago P.D.
She-Hulk will star Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters (AKA She-Hulk). In the comics, she’s the cousin of Bruce Banner (AKA the Hulk). She received her abilities after getting a blood transfusion from him. While Mark Ruffalo will appear in the series as Banner, it’s unknown if She-Hulk’s origins will follow the comics.
Along with Segarra, Maslany, and Ruffalo, the series will star Ginger Gonzaga as Walters’ best friend, Renée Elise Goldsberry as Amelia, Jameela Jamil as Titania, and Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky (AKA The Abomination). Kat Coiro and Anu Valia will serve as directors.
Described as a “half-hour legal comedy,” She-Hulk will consist of 10 episodes. Look for it to hit the Disney streaming service sometime in 2022.
