According to Deadline, actor Anthony Ramos has joined the cast of Marvel Studios’ upcoming Disney+ series Ironheart. Ramos joins Dominique Thorne, who was announced to be playing Riri Williams (AKA Ironheart) in December 2020.
While the outlet didn’t say who he would be playing, they did reveal that it would be a “key role”. They also described it to how “Jonathan Majors was introduced as Kang the Conquer in Loki, where he is expected to not only have a big role in this series but in future Marvel projects as well.”
Ramos is best known for appearing in Hamilton, A Star Is Born, and the 2021 musical In The Heights. He is also set to appear in the upcoming film Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.
While Ironheart doesn’t have a release date yet, it’s expected to hit the Disney streaming service sometime in 2023. It is known though that Thorne will make her MCU debut as Williams in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (November 2022) before she appears in her own show.
