Samuel L. Jackson has just been spilling MCU secrets all over the place recently. In the last week, the Nick Fury actor revealed that both Don Cheadle and Martin Freeman will appear in his upcoming Disney+ series Secret Invasion. Now Jackson has seemingly hinted at another surprise appearance, this time though it’s for his character Fury.
“It used to take a while to make a movie,” he continued, “but people make two or three of them at a time. In the Marvel Universe…it’s crazy. When I was in London, it was [Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania], and [The Marvels] was happening, and we were getting ready to do [Secret Invasion]. It was like, three Marvel movies on one lot. I was kind of running around from place to place.”
The line where he says that he was “running around from place to place” is the part that suggests that he will appear in the film. It’s possible that the 73-year old actor misspoke, but given all the circumstances, it seems unlikely.
2023 looks to be a big year for Jackson’s Fury. If he is in Quantumania, then that would make the third MCU project that we know of that he will appear in (Secret Invasion, The Marvels). Could there be more appearances in store for the Former S.H.I.E.L.D. Director next year? Will just have to wait and see.
Secret Invasion is slated to arrive on the Disney streaming service in early 2023. The Marvels will arrive in theaters on February 17, 2023, while Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania will be released on July 28, 2023.
