After making her MCU debut this winter in the Hawkeye series, Alaqua Cox’s Maya Lopez is now expected to get her own show on Disney+ titled Echo. While plot details remain under wraps, we may have just learned who will also appear in the series.
According to costume designer Stacy Caballero’s website, she is slated to work on the show in 2023. On her resume, she lists Charlie Cox (Daredevil) and Vincent D’Onofrio (Kingpin) as being part of the cast. She also says that the show will be directed by Sydney Freeland.
While some think that her resume is legit, others have questioned it and pointed out that D’Onofrio’s name is spelled wrong. Personally, I think it’s real. The spelling error was probably just a simple mistake as it was only off by one letter. We’ve all done it, or at least I know I have.
If it is accurate, it will be interesting to see how the Kingpin is used. If you recall, during the final episode of Hawkeye, he was thought to have been killed by Maya. Since it was off-screen, it’s possible that he survived. It’s also possible that he could only appear in flashback scenes.
As for Cox’s Daredevil, his appearance makes more sense. The last we saw of him was in Spider-Man: No Way Home when he told Tom Holland’s Peter Parker that charges against him were being dropped. It’s also been rumored that he’ll also appear in the She-Hulk series, which is expected to drop later this year on Disney+.
So do you think her resume is real?
