Earlier today, Sony announced that Spider-Man: No Way Home will be released on Digital on March 22, and DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K UHD on April 12. To celebrate the news, the studio released a behind the scenes photo that showed the three Peter Parker’s (Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire, and Andrew Garfield) recreating the famous Spider-Man finger-pointing meme.
Needless to say, the photo was a hit as it has been liked more than 190K times and retweeted more than 55K times on Twitter. It also bumped #SpiderManNoWayHome into the top 5 most trending topics in the United States for today.
Later on, Sony also released a promotional video that included even more behind the scenes shots of the three Spidey actors. It also included our first official look at Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock (AKA Daredevil) in the film.
Spider-Man: No Way Home exceeded everyone’s expectations at the box office when it was released in theaters on December 17. After bringing in $260M domestically during opening weekend (second-most all-time), the film has gone on to gross $772M, and counting, in North America (third most all-time). Despite not getting a release date in China, it has also brought in $1.83B worldwide (sixth most all-time).
