Earlier today, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania director Peyton Reed announced on Twitter that “principal photography” for the film was now complete. To celebrate the news, Reed posted a piece of art that shows a miniature (or regular size?) Wasp sitting on Ant-Man’s head as the two stare down some unknown threat.
Production for the third movie in the franchise began all the way back in June. Originally the film was supposed to arrive in theaters in February 2023. Unfortunately, in October, it was pushed back and will now arrive on the big screen on July 28, 2023.
Why we still don’t know much about the plot of the film, we do know that Jonathan Majors will play the villain Kang the Conqueror.
Along with Majors, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will star Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet van Dyne, Bill Murray, and Kathryn Newton as Scott Lang’s daughter Cassie Lang. Corey Stoll, who played Darren Cross (aka Yellowjacket) in the first Ant-Man (2015), will also appear in the film.
