Marvel Studios announced Love and Thunder trailer was viewed 209M times during first 24 hours

On Tuesday, Marvel Studios announced that the first trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder was watched over 209M times on all platforms during its first 24 hours of release. Overall, the total was the studio’s fourth-highest ever in that timeframe, behind last year’s Spider-Man: No Way Home (355M), Avengers: Endgame (289M), and Avengers: Infinity War (230M). The number was substantially higher than the last Thor film (Thor: Ragnarok), seen 136M times in April 2017.

Alaqua Cox reveals that filming for Echo series has begun

On Wednesday, Echo star Alaqua Cox announced that filming for her upcoming Disney+ series would begin on Thursday. Cox revealed the news in an Instagram story.

As you can see, the 25-year-old actress shared a photo of a message she received from Reservation Dogs star Kawennáhere Devery Jacobs that wished her good luck on the start of filming. She also said that she would “see you soon.” While there have been no reports that Jacobs is involved in the series, this could indicate that she is in it.

Bruce Campbell talks about extensive Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness reshoots

Since 2008’s Iron Man, reshoots in Marvel Studios films have been standard practice. In the past, studio president Kevin Feige has described them as “key” and “efficient” to their filming process. Well, their next movie to hit theaters, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, is no different and has gone through a couple of rounds of them as well.

This week, one of the film’s supporting cast members Bruce Campbell, spoke with Game Informer about the reshoots. According to the Evil Dead star, it’s unclear what scenes have made the final cut.

“The Marvel guys, they make eight of these movies at the same time, so they’re always updating storylines,” the actor explained. “So, my buddy Sam [Raimi] has had to add scenes that [Marvel] told him he had to shoot, and he’s removed scenes that no longer apply. So until May rolls around I don’t think Benedict Cumberbatch even knows if he’s in this movie or not.”

Rumor: Laura Donnelly is playing Elsa Bloodstone in Marvel Studios’ Werewolf By Night special

In January, actress Laura Donnelly joined the cast of Marvel Studios’ Werewolf By Night Halloween special for Disney+. At the time, it was speculated that she would be playing Nina Price, whose known as Vampire By Night in the comics. However, a report this week from The Comic Circus revealed that Donnelly will actually be playing monster hunter Elsa Bloodstone.

The daughter of Ulysses Bloodstone, Elsa debuted in the comics in 2001. Thanks to an artifact she wears called the Bloodgem, she has the abilities of enhanced strength, speed, endurance, agility, and invulnerability to physical harm.
